Ingredients

2 cups diced lauki 1 tsp cumin seeds Salt to taste 1 tbsp oil 1 chopped green chilli ½ cup water ¼ tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp coriander leaves ½ tsp red chilli powder

Step 1

Peel a lauki and dice it into ½-inch pieces.

Step 2

Heat oil in the pressure cooker and let cumin seeds crackle.

Step 3

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and green chillies.

Step 4

Fold in lauki and pour water. Season the mixture with salt.

Step 5

After 2 whistles, turn off the heat, and let the pressure release.

Step 6

Garnish lauki ki sabzi with coriander leaves and add lemon juice. Serve it with steamed rice.
